Production of Nissan 100 NX in coupe version was being in process in 1990-1996. During this period, company presented one generation of car.

Sales of Nissan 100 NX started on European markets in 1990. Specialists of famous NDI design studio worked at the car exterior. Coupe was the only car version presented during the production, its sizes were 4140 mm in length, 1310 mm in height, 1680 mm in width. Car looked sporty due to narrow headlights mounted in deep niches, an elongated hood, a rear spoiler and body colored moldings.

Nissan 100 NX interior was light gray. Large faces of a speedometer, a tachometer and a gasoline tank unit were situated on a control panel. Driver seat could be adjusted moving back and forth; slope angle of backrest could be also changed. Car was a two-seater so there was enough space for passenger’s legs.

Basic configuration included a power steering, power windows and mirrors, a seat-heater and audio system.

Nissan 100 NX was characterized by a good road performance, which was achieved with the help of a well-designed suspension and a brake system. Manufacturer mounted diametric arms and ventilated disk brakes on front wheels; a shock strut and drum type brakes were mounted on rear wheels.

Nissan 100 NX was sold under the name of Nissan NX Coupe in Japan, in the USA it was known as Nissan NX 1600/2000.
