Suzuki Wagon RProduction of the Suzuki Wagon R kei car started in 1993 and continues until present. There have been five generations of the model. Suzuki Wagon R is available as a three-door and a five-door minivan. In various years, the car was produced in Japan, India, and Pakistan.
Suzuki Wagon R, generation ISuzuki Wagon R was first shown at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1993. In 1994, the model was awarded the "Car of the Year" award at the conference of automotive researchers and journalists in Japan.
The first-generation cars featured stylish exterior. The smooth lines of the body were in harmony with square front headlights, stylish roof rails and punching on side doors. Side mirrors were painted black. Its small size made the car an ideal vehicle for city driving. Car length was 3.3 m, width — 1.4 m, height — 1.7 m
In 1997, the production of Suzuki Wagon R+ started. These cars were fitted with improved engines, and featured increased body size: 3.4 m long, 1.5 m wide, and 1.7 m high.
Suzuki Wagon R, generation IIIn 1998, the company introduced the second generation of Suzuki Wagon R. The designers had changed the exterior of the car by adding a few stylish elements. So, headlights got plastic edging. Configurations with moldings and mirrors side painted the body color were added. The windshield to the hood angle increased greatly, which had a positive effect on body aerodynamics.

The options in the basic configuration included: remote key, electric windows, the anti-lock braking system (ABS), air conditioning, a filter in the passenger compartment, an audio system, an alarm system and an anti theft system.

All cars got improved observation, ingenious electronic systems for reducing fuel consumption, and powerful engines. The hallmarks of the exterior were teardrop-shaped headlights, punching on the bonnet, a wide radiator grill in the front bumper, and chrome-plated elements.
The basic configuration of the car included: power steering, heated front seats, a remote control key, climate control, an air filter in the passenger compartment and a sound system.
